Calling all young explorers and inquisitive minds of 3 to 5 years old! Are you ready for an exhilarating journey into the captivating world of science? TERM 1- Monday 3rd January to Friday 11th April. Week One: On the Pond - solubility, water tension, sugar binding Week Two: Lava Lamps & Fireworks - density, carbon dioxide reactions Week Three: Shapes & Structures - engineering and transport Week Four: Curious Colourful Rivers, Magnets & Magnetism Week Five: The world around us - Environments Week Six: Dinosaurs, fossils and volcanos Week Seven: Vortex's and Tornados Week Eight: Colours and Mixing Week Nine: Summer Sandcastles, Eruptions and Rain Clouds Week Ten: Solar ovens, Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide Why choose Mini Scientists? Story Led Play: Each session begins with a problem based story (often delivered in a letter to our mail box!) to spark curiosity and ignite inquiry skills! Hands-On Experiments: Mini Scientists is all about interactive, hands-on learning. From bubbling potions, ice-cream making to explosive reactions, our facilitators guide children through a range of experiments that leave them wide-eyed with wonder.
